Art is a journey of discovery rather than the arrival at a destination.
I think everyone should look for the creative spark that already exists in each of us. The goal of art is not necessarily the final product, but the journey to get there: looking at a subject or scene with different eyes, experimenting with colors and mediums, coping with the inevitable disasters and learning from them, and finding contentment in the time carved out for this creative journey.
Art is about discovering the play of light and color across nature’s canvas. Bringing that perspective to my artwork gives me joy; I hope my work does the same for you. I invite you to join me as I attempt to capture the beauty of the world around us.
